Q: What is coaching?
A: Coaching is a partnership that helps you gain clarity and accomplish more. A life and business coach helps you focus on your goals and take action to achieve them.

Q: What makes coaching effective?

A: Coaches bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, and training, as well as new perspectives, to help you achieve outcome-oriented goals. A coach is trained to guide without judgment—their only agenda is to elevate your success based on your values and goals.

In short: coaching offers a framework of support and structure that can accelerate and enhance the end result.

Q: What does the coaching process look like?

A: Regular coaching sessions are scheduled via phone, video conference, or in-person depending on your location. You choose a focus for each session so that we can target our discussion. I provide support and structure around your goal, which may involve a combination of brainstorming, strategizing, goal setting, feedback, and advice. Between meetings, I offer support structures and unlimited email communication, as well as any action items identified from the coaching session.

Q: Is coaching right for me?

A: The best candidate for coaching is a person who wants to be coached. Whether you want to increase success, initiate change, or learn something new, consider these questions:

  • Do you know what you want? Make a list of what you want to accomplish. You may have specific goals, or you may want clarity around your goals. This will help you evaluate the success of your coaching relationship.

  • Are you ready to act? People choose coaching because they want to improve a specific area of their life or business. Change requires effort and readiness to take action. You should feel ready and excited to work toward your desired outcome.

  • Are you interested in learning about yourself in a different way? Working with a coach is an opportunity to maximize your strengths and unique gifts, stretch beyond what you think you’re capable of, reconnect with your true self, and boost your success. Listen, explore options, and collaborate with your coach to gain the most from your experience.

  • Are you ready to invest in yourself or your business? Results require you to invest time, energy, and finances. Evaluate what you are willing and able to invest against what you want to accomplish.

Q: How can we work together?
